Registration & Call for Abstracts for Galway 2018

Registration and call for abstracts now open!
Following on from the successful meetings in Keele (2014) and Stirling (2016), the Marine Institute in Ireland is delighted to host the third meeting at the Connacht Hotel, Galway on 11 – 12th September 2018. The theme of this meeting is “connecting academia with industry for improved aquatic animal health”. The conference will focus on the latest scientific advances and how this can be applied to the crustacean, molluscan and finfish aquaculture industries to improve animal health.
Registration for this meeting is now open and will close on Friday 29th June 2018. Registration for this meeting is €100 for EAFP members and €120 for non-members. Payment will cover attendance at the meeting, tea/coffee and lunches as well as the meeting dinner on September 11th. Accommodation is not covered; however a limited number of rooms are available at the Connacht Hotel for € 99 B&B per night until 31st May 2018 (using the reference ‘Marine Institute’). Galway also offers a range of additional accommodation from hotels, B&B to hostels.
The call for abstracts is now open. Presentations are expected to be 15 minutes including discussion time. A special session for early stage researchers (post graduate, PhD students) will also take place with presentations of 10 minutes allowed.
