20-21st November 2024 in Edinburgh

We are delighted to announce that the 5th EAFP UK & Ireland branch meeting will be held in lovely Edinburgh on the 20-21st November 2024, hosted by Moredun Research Institute.

The event is set to take place back in Scotland, providing a splendid opportunity to connect academic and industrial professionals to enhance their understanding of fish and shellfish health.

It is scheduled for the 20th and the morning of the 21st of November 2024, with specialised sessions centred on recent advancements in aquatic animal health. Prominent keynote speakers will offer lectures on key topics and a specific session will be devoted to showcasing the work of Early Career Researchers. A workshop on “The Genomics of Fish Pathogens” will be held at the Roslin Institute on the 19th of November 2024, for Early Career Researchers, which is kindly funded by the Sustainable Aquaculture Innovation Centre (SAIC).
