Biosecurity in Mediterranean Fish Farming

Keynote lectures will introduce new tools and strategies for monitoring aquatic diseases and designing advanced biosecurity procedures. Sessions will focus on specific risks and preventive measures, providing practical insights and best practices to improve disease management in Mediterranean aquaculture systems. Presentations will also explore the applications of biosecurity across different geographic areas and sectors of aquaculture. Deadline for registration is 20 June.

Roger Williams University and Rhode Island-Israel Collaborative Host 2024 International Aquaculture Conference

XI International Symposium on Fish Parasites Fish Health, Parasites and Biodiversity Conservation

Mérida, Mexico – 20 January to January 24, 2025

The symposium will bring together researchers and students from around the world to discuss various aspects of fish parasitology such as taxonomy, ecology & life cycles, evolution & biogeography, parasites of farmed fish, parasites of wildlife fish, environmental parasitology, biodiversity of fish parasites and conservation, etc. The venue for the symposium will be the “Centro Cultural Universitario of the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán”, in the beautiful city of Mérida, in the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico.
