EAFP Student Awards 2023
EARLY CAREER SCIENTISTS AWARDS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 21st INTERNATIONAL EAFP MEETING ARE NOW OPEN!
The EAFP will provide 11 awards for early career scientists (PhD students and postdoctoral fellows) working on fish, shellfish and crustacean diseases to participate in the EAFP conference in Aberdeen, Scotland, from September 11th – 14th 2023. Awards include free Conference registration.
Eligible applicants are:

- Early career scientists who are student or regular members of the EAFP in the year of the conference;
- That have been registered as student/regular member at least since 2022, i.e. the year before the conference;
- Participants that preferably offer oral presentations.
The application should include an abstract of the presentation (conforming to the required format), CV (max. 1 page, including published papers and EAFP membership number) and evidence of current attendance of the PhD program (e.g. supervisor’s or administrative confirmation) or postdoctoral status. Priority will be given to members that have not received an EAFP student award in the past.

In addition to sending your application to Astrid, you must submit your abstract(s) through the conference abstract submission platform. The deadline for submission of early career scientist award applications is 20th May 2023. Decisions will be communicated to applicants within 2 weeks after the deadline.
