EAFP Bulletin

The Bulletin of the European Association of Fish Pathologists contains news of interest to members, letters to the editor and concise papers that merit rapid publication by virtue of their interest to the field of fish pathology.

Short reviews, methodology papers and papers which propose alternative hypotheses based on previous data are also considered. All papers are submitted to peer review.
The EAFP Bulletin is produced 6 times per annum and is distributed free to members.

Member's Handbook

The Members Handbook is an invaluable reference for all EAFP members, containing information about the EAFP and listing all Branch Officials, Sustaining Members and Ordinary Members along with their contact details. The current edition of the Members Handbook is available to EAFP members. Please log in through the mesage board.

EAFP Histopathology Workshops

Histopathology workshops have been an integral part of EAFP conferences since 1993 and have attracted a great deal of interest from members. The first workshop was held in Palma. The pathology associated with particular tissues have been reviewed and participants have discussed submitted material from a wide range of fish.

Additional copies of the CD’s are available from the EAFP and can be purchased at 25 Euros each (including postage). Please contact the EAFP Treasurer, Sven Bergmann, for more information.

The EAFP has produced the following booklets -

‘What Shall I Do? A practical Guide for the Fresh Water Fish Farmer’

‘What Shall I Do. A Practical Guide for the Marine Fish Farmer’. Their aim is to provide a quick treatment guide to some of the common diseases affecting farmed fish (readers shold check current regulations). Each guide is illustrated throughout with colour pictures.
